Meet the Principal

My name is Carla Medrano and I'm a proud Dodge City native and graduate of Dodge City High School. I earned my bachelor's degree from Kansas State University and my master's from Fort Hays State University. My journey in education began as a kindergarten teacher, and I've also had the privilege of serving as an instructional coach and assistant principal.

2024-2025 was my first school year as principal at Linn Elementary, and I’m truly honored to continue working alongside such an amazing team of educators and students. I’m passionate about creating a safe, inclusive, and inspiring environment where every child feels valued and supported. Building strong relationships with students, families, and staff is at the heart of everything I do. I’m excited for all we’ll accomplish together as we help every student grow with confidence and pride.
